Botox FAQ
What is Botox and how does it work?
Botox is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that helps to eliminate facial wrinkles with a series of small injections of botulism. Some common areas injected with Botox include worry lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and platysma bands.
What kind of results can I expect from Botox?
Within 7-10 days 24 hours, you should begin to see your wrinkles fade with gradual improvement over the next week. The effects of Botox are reported to last for up to 3-4 months. In addition to its cosmetic benefits, Botox is also used to help treat migraines, and excess sweating.
How long does Botox Last?
Botox is known to last for around 3-4 months. Temporary bruising and discomfort around the injection site is common following the procedure. For the best results, you may want to include other skin rejuvenation treatments in conjunction with this procedure.
What is the recovery period for Botox?
There is no recovery period for Botox, and you may go back to work the same day of the procedure if desired. The most common side effects reported are temporary headaches and redness around the injection site. Be sure to avoid strenuous activity or the consumption of alcohol after the procedure for at least 4 hours.

Dysport FAQ
What is Dysport and how does it work?
Like Botox, Dysport is a type of botulism injection that can help prevent wrinkles and fine lines in the facial region. However, Dysport is known to show results sooner than Botox, usually within 3-4 days.
What kind of results can I expect from Dysport?
Within 3-4 days you should begin to see your wrinkles fade with gradual improvement within 7 days.
How long does Dysport Last?
While you may see minimal results in as little as 2 days, the effects of Dysport typically last around 4 to 6 months. Of course, results vary from patient to patient. Be sure to talk to your provider on how to best maintain your results.
What is the recovery period for Dysport?
As with Botox, there is no recovery period for Dysport. You may go back to work immediately following the procedure. Aside from some mild side effects such as bruising, headaches, and mild redness around the injection sight.
